WHAT IS CHIROPRACTIC?
"Chiropractic is the science, philosophy and art that utilizes the inherent recuperative power of the body to heal itself without the use of drugs or surgery" - BJ Palmer
Chiropractic was founded by BJ Palmer in Davenport, Iowa circa 1895. His hands on approach to healing uses the philosophy that the body is a self-healing, regenerative being, and with the right spinal alignment, the body can function at the highest level. Disruptions in optimal alignment is what results in pain, manifested in many different ways. Modern Chiropractic is credited with helping with headaches, TMJ, chronic pain, herniated discs, and much more.
